"KOAN 1", photo collage print 22"x 30"
"Seeing the
art of Elizabeth Ginsberg for the first time challenges one to describe the unexpected freshness and excitement of the discovery.
I thought of the word "exhilarating”. It’s rarely seen in writing about serious art; it suggests a rush, brought on by the
sights and sounds of a great performance of music or theatre, or the first taste of an exquisite champagne. Yet exhilarated
is how I felt when I first saw her work, and exhilarated is how feel now, when I have the good fortune to see her latest
work. The sensation is due in part to the utter fearlessness of her ambition and the breadth of its range. Imposing her
own vision on what to most of us is a massive profusion of imagery from around the world gives Ginsberg's work its power and
its poetry." Russell Connor, former Director of Education, The Whitney Museum

"CARNEVALE
3" photo collage print 13"x19"
"In everything that nature makes, nature records how it is
made. In the rock is a record of how the rock was made... When we are conscious of this, we have a sense of the laws of the
universe. Some can reconstruct the laws of the universe from knowing just a blade of grass." Louis Kahn "With an exquisite sense of the beauty and drama of selected visual facts, and her keen ability
to get the most out of striking juxtapositions, Elizabeth Ginsberg, in her prints, accomplishes for the world what it had
not yet imagined for itself". Allan Peterson, artist, writer and former director of the Switzer Center
for Visual Arts
